In an effort to raise more interest in hunting, the Vermont House of Representatives advanced a bill Thursday that would create an apprentice hunting license. The bill allows someone who has not taken a hunter's safety course to purchase a $10 apprentice license, which would allow them to hunt alongside a licensed hunter over the age of 21.
