Oregon: Thank the Legislators Who Fought to Protect Your Rights

Despite the passage of Senate Bill 941, it’s important that the legislators in the Oregon Senate and House of Representatives who stood strong to protect your rights know that their efforts are appreciated.  Below is a list of those legislators who held firm and voted against Senate Bill 941.  Please take a minute to show your gratitude and thank them for fighting to protect your Second Amendment rights.

As reported on Monday, Governor Brown signed into law the deeply flawed legislation which expands background checks to private firearms transfers. The background check portion of this bill will take effect August 9, 2015.  SB 941 passed by a narrow margin despite overwhelming opposition from NRA members, law enforcement, county commissioners and gun owners throughout Oregon.
