Also known as "no-net-loss," HB5209 would require that the state maintain the current level of available public hunting lands. If enacted, additional lands would have to be opened to hunting if lands currently open are closed. HB5209 has been put on the House calendar and is now awaiting action on the House Floor. The NRA supports the current version of HB5209 without any amendments.
