PENNSYLVANIA: POTTSVILLE MAYOR PROPOSES ANTI-GUN ORDINANCE

Tonight, the Pottsville City Council will hear a proposal from Mayor John D. W. Reiley (D) that would require gun owners to report a lost or stolen firearm within a 72-hour period.  This ordinance not only violates Pennsylvania’s state preemption laws, but also turns innocent law abiding victims into criminals. 

Please try and attend tonight’s meeting to voice your opposition to this important ordinance!

        Pottsville, Pennsylvania

 

Time:        6:30 p.m.

If you cannot attend tonight’s meeting please contact the Mayor’s office at (570) 622-1234 and urge Mayor Reiley to drop this measure from tonight’s agenda. You can also contact your city council member by e-mail at [email protected] and urge him or her to stand up for your Second Amendment rights and oppose this anti-gun measure.
