Rules on firearms in national parks will get another look by Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne. Kempthorne announced Friday that the Interior Department will review gun laws on lands administered by the National Parks Service and the Fish and Wildlife Service. By April 30, the department will have drawn up new rules for public comment, Kempthorne told U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho.
