Today, by a vote of 137-15, the Missouri House of Representatives overwhelmingly gave final approval to House Bill 845, sponsored by State Representative Bob Dixon (R-140).

HB845 requires the Secretary of State to send a voter registration application to non-registered resident hunting license and fishing permit applicants. This measure will ensure that all resident sportsmen have the opportunity to make their voices heard on Election Day.

Special thanks to the Missouri State House Leadership, Representative Dixon for his efforts, and all of the Representatives who voted in support of this pro-sportsmen bill.

HB845 now moves to the Senate for consideration. Please contact your State Senator and urge him or her to support and vote for HB845 in its current form!  Contact information can be found by using the “Write Your Representative” link below.
