Massachusetts: Hunting Ammunition Restrictions on Agenda for Committee Hearing Tomorrow

On Tuesday, October 21st, the Joint Committee on Environment and Natural Resources will hold a hearing on dozens of hunting-related bills, including two bills aiming to restrict ammunition.

Please contact members of the committee TODAY by using the TAKE ACTION button below and urge them to OPPOSE these bans!

H1047 seeks to ban the use of lead-based ammunition for hunting, which would decrease hunting participation due to the substantial increase in the cost of ammunition.

H1075 would allow for the arbitrary regulation of the use and possession of shotgun ammunition for hunting, with no clear definitions of what would and would not be allowed.
