Nevada: Governor Lombardo Vetoes Age Discrimination Bill!

In addition to his recent veto on Senate Bill 89, Governor Lombardo has now also vetoed Assembly Bill 245. As passed by the legislature, AB 245 would have discriminated against young adults aged 18-20 by prohibiting them from possessing semi-automatic rifles and shotguns and would have further restricted youth access to these firearms for lawful hunting and recreational shooting.

NRA applauds Governor Lombardo for defending the Second Amendment rights of Nevada’s law-abiding adults, and for protecting hunting and recreational shooting opportunities for youth across the Silver State!

As previously reported, several anti-gun bills are currently awaiting action from Governor Lombardo following the legislature’s adjournment on June 3^rd.
