In addition to his recent veto on Senate Bill 89, Governor Lombardo has now also vetoed Assembly Bill 245. As passed by the legislature, AB 245 would have discriminated against young adults aged 18-20 by prohibiting them from possessing semi-automatic rifles and shotguns and would have further restricted youth access to these firearms for lawful hunting and recreational shooting.

As previously reported, several anti-gun bills are currently awaiting action from Governor Lombardo following the legislature’s adjournment on June 3rd.
