FAIRFAX, Va- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) recently announced its endorsement of Gary Herbert for re-election as Governor of Utah and Sean Reyes for re-election to the office of Utah Attorney General.
“We are proud to endorse Governor Gary Herbert and Attorney General Sean Reyes for re-election in Utah. The NRA is confident that these two pro-Second Amendment advocates will continue their pro-freedom leadership in Salt Lake City,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman of the NRA-PVF. “As out-of-touch elites continue attempts to exert their extreme anti-gun agenda on the state level, it is crucial that Utahans elect strong, pro-Second Amendment candidates who will stand up for law-abiding citizens and their freedoms.”
Governor Herbert and Attorney General Reyes both have strong records of support for the Second Amendment. For their opposition to gun control and pro-Second Amendment stances, Governor Herbert holds an “A-” rating and endorsement while Attorney General Reyes holds an “A+” rating and endorsement.
With former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg spending his personal fortune to impose his extreme anti-gun agenda, Utahans must stand together and elect candidates who will defend the rights of law-abiding individuals.
“I encourage all law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen to vote Gary Herbert for governor and Sean Reyes for attorney general this November,” said Cox.
