Alabama Attorney General: LawCo sheriff and Moulton Council must comply with state gun law

The city of Moulton and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office have lifted firearms restrictions after receiving letters from the state attorney general saying the restrictions violated state law.
Attorney General Luther Strange issued a statement Wednesday about unlawful firearm restrictions enforced by the Sheriff’s Office and the Moulton City Council, as well as two universities and the Alabama Department of Transportation.
