We can stop the Washington anti-gunners

Please join NRA-ILA staff and your local legislators for an informative meeting on how we can fight to defend our Second Amendment rights in Washington.

As you are aware, we suffered a major blow with the passage of Initiative 594 last year. Billionaire politician Michael Bloomberg has funded numerous gun control front groups here in Washington and across the country, all of which are systematically trying to dismantle the Second Amendment.

Fortunately, these anti-gunners can be stopped.

In Vermont, gun control groups outspent the NRA 5 to 1 in an attempt to pass a so called “universal” background check bill but still failed to pass their top priority .

In Nevada, NRA members recently delivered a devastating blow to Bloomberg by passing legislation that expanded Nevadans right to self-defense and abolished handgun registration in Clark County.

The key to these victories? An active and informed pro-gun community that developed relationships with state legislators. In an effort to combat these increasingly aggressive attacks on our rights, your NRA-ILA Grassroots Division is hosting these meetings to educate you on becoming an even more effective activist.

Please make plans to attend one of NRA-ILA's FREE meetings to learn how you can actively assist with our mutual efforts to protect our gun rights in Washington!  Those who participate will receive complimentary NRA items. We will also be providing light refreshments!

If you are unable to attend one of these meetings, but are willing to assist with our grassroots efforts, you can contact our NRA-ILA Washington Field Coordinator Keely Hopkins at: [email protected] or 703-939-0824.
