On Thursday, March 12, the New Jersey Assembly Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee will hear Assembly Bill 1669, sponsored by Assemblyman John Burzichelli (D-3), and Senate Bill 802, sponsored by State Senator Stephen Sweeney (D-3).
A1669 and S802 would permit Sunday deer hunting on State Wildlife management areas and on private property during the archery season. S802 has already passed the full Senate by a vote of 32-6 and now needs to be approved by the Assembly Committee before it can be taken up by the full Assembly.
Please contact the members of the Assembly Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee listed below and respectfully urge them to pass both A1669 and S802.
