HCR 2037, sponsored by State Representative Jerry Weiers (R-12), would protect the right to hunt and fish in Arizona through a constitutional amendment. HCR2037 will be considered tomorrow, March 5 at 9:00 am.
Your NRA is working with other sportsmen’s groups to pass an amendment to the Arizona Constitution to protect your right to hunt and fish in Arizona.
Hunting is under a constant threat by radical environmentalists. They have successfully banned certain forms of hunting in other states through legislation, litigation, and ballot initiatives. Let’s not forget that in 1990, Wayne Pacelle, CEO of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) admitted, "We are going to use the ballot box and the democratic process to stop all hunting in the United States... We will take it species by species until all hunting is stopped..."
NRA will not wait for that to happen in Arizona! By making hunting a right clearly protected by the Arizona Constitution, NRA will be able to defend your right to hunt and fish forever.

It is critical that you call and email the members of the Arizona House of Representatives Natural Resources and Public Safety Committee immediately and to ask them to support HCR2037.
