The Virginia House of Delegates Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources Committee is scheduled to hear House Bill 1175, sponsored by Delegate Scott Lingamfelter (R-31), on Wednesday, January 30. This important pro-hunting bill will establish an "apprentice license" which will be available to novice hunters and provide them with increased opportunity to experience the Old Dominion's proud hunting heritage. This legislation will allow new hunters to try their hand at hunting prior to completing a hunter education course, as long as they are supervised by a licensed, adult hunter.
