On Thursday, June 28, Governor Ruth Minner (D) signed two very important pro-Second Amendment bills.
House Bill 175, sponsored by State Representative Pamela Thornburg (R-29), would protect our Second Amendment rights by prohibiting any government agency from confiscating or regulating the lawful sale, possession, transfer, transport and carry of firearms during a state of emergency.
Senate Bill 93, introduced by State Senator Robert Venables (D-21), will allow hunters to hunt with a handgun instead of a shotgun during the regular shotgun season.
Please take the time to thank Governor Minner for signing these critical pro-gun measures by calling (302) 744-4101.
