Senate Bill 93, introduced by State Senator Robert Venables (D-21), passed out of the House Energy and Natural Resources Committee on Tuesday, June 12. SB93 now heads to the House floor and is scheduled for a vote on Tuesday, June 19.
This legislation will allow hunters to hunt with a handgun instead of a shotgun during the regular shotgun season.
