On Thursday, February 22, the House Special Committee on General Laws is scheduled to hear the "Missouri Disaster Recovery Protection Act," House Bill 669, sponsored by State Representative David Pearce (R-121).

Consistent with its companion bill in the Senate, Senate Bill 257, sponsored by State Senator Kevin Engler (R-3), House Bill 669 would protect your right to self-defense by prohibiting the suspension of your Second Amendment freedoms during a state of emergency.

Please contact your State Representative at (573)-751-3659 as soon as possible and urge him or her to support and vote for House Bill 669!
