It is being called the Big Game Access Program, BGAP for short. File it under the general heading of ideas whose time has come. If approved by the Colorado Wildlife Commission, the plan would promote public hunting for deer and pronghorn on many thousands of acres of private land in southeast Colorado through a pilot plan to be evaluated after three years.
