Roswell has moved one step closer to controlling bow- hunting in the city. The City Council voted 4-1 Wednesday to approve an amended version of its ordinance on discharging weapons. The new wording adds bows and crossbows to the list of weapons that cannot be fired in the city, except at approved ranges or with a special permit issued by the city administrator.
