The Indiana General Assembly finished their 2002 session on a good note. Through the efforts of pro-freedom legislators, not a single gun-control bill was heard. NRA members are encouraged to thank Senators Bob Meeks (R-13), Johnny Nugent (R-43), David Long (R-16), and Robert Garton (R-41); and Representatives Jerry Denbo (D-62), Markt Lytle (D-69), Mike Smith (R-16), and Brent Steele (R-65) for all their hard work. Also, Speaker John Gregg (D-45) is retiring after 15 years of service to Indiana. Please contact him and thank him for his record of service in support of freedom.
