Greenbank, Washington, resident Randy Burrington heard shots
outside his home. Turns out a neighbor was shooting at four
suspects who were apparently trying to steal about 50 marijuana
plants from another neighbor's property. Burrington ran outside in
only his underwear and tried and stop the criminals. One of them ran
right by him. So he went back inside, retrieved his 9 mm and yelled
at a second suspect to stop. "He saw I had it [the gun], I didn't
have to point it at him," says Burrington, who received an award
from police for holding the suspects at bay until authorities
