A Montgomery, Alabama, woman and her boyfriend were awakened
rather rudely by the woman's ex-boyfriend, who was dousing them and
the rest of the apartment with gasoline. But before the would-be
arsonist could strike a match, the new boyfriend pulled his pistol
and began firing, hitting his target twice.
