Lester Boissey was reporting a burglary when an intruder
rushed the 82-year-old Spokane, Wash., homeowner. He hit the
criminal in the chest with a bullet from his .25 cal. pistol,
putting him and his accomplice to flight. Arriving police found one
housebreaker mortally wounded and caught the second a few blocks
away. Police said both had extensive criminal records, including
bank robbery and drug offenses.
Established in 1975, the Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) is the "lobbying" arm of the National Rifle Association of America. ILA is responsible for preserving the right of all law-abiding individuals in the legislative, political, and legal arenas, to purchase, possess and use firearms for legitimate purposes as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
