Roy Fletcher, owner of a Northside, Ariz., liquor store, was behind the counter when a shotgun-carrying robber leaped through the drive-in window and demanded cash. When the thief became momentarily distracted, Fletcher pulled a pistol and shot the man after a short struggle. The attacker was treated at a nearby hospital.
