Fountain, Colo., grocer Shirley Melton was working in a back room when a man carrying a long-bladed knife entered the store. When she asked "What have you got there?" the man whirled and raised the knife. Melton drew her handgun, cocked it, and leveled it at him. After a brief stand-off, the man turned and ran out of the store.
