When a Las Vegas woman answered an early-morning knock at the door, a man pushed his way inside, forced the woman at gunpoint into a bedroom, and ordered her and a second woman to lie on the floor. A man sleeping in the home awoke when he heard the disturbance, armed himself with a handgun, and shot the intruder, who was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
