A Nashville, Tenn., sneak thief ended up pleading with police to arrest him after an unsuccessful attempt to rob a car in a supermarket parking lot. The crook grabbed a sack of cash and lit out on foot; but several shoppers began chasing him in their cars. The chase ended when an unidentified man with a large pistol ordered the thief to lie on the pavement.
