MN: "Kitchen Sink" Gun Control Bill Passes House - Action Needed!

Despite the overwhelming opposition expressed through thousands of messages, the Public Safety Omnibus Bill, also known as Senate File 2909 or the "Kitchen Sink" gun control bill, has successfully passed the House on a near party-line vote. This bill includes redundant universal background checks and "red flag" gun confiscations, posing a significant threat to our Second Amendment rights.

It is with disappointment that we report only one Democrat voted in opposition to this comprehensive gun control package. However, we cannot afford to lose hope as the bill now advances to the Governor's desk. We must remain vigilant and take action to protect our constitutional rights.

First and foremost, we want to express our sincere gratitude to all the Republican lawmakers who worked tirelessly, and passionately debated for approximately 9 hours in their respective chambers, striving to defeat this gun control package. Their dedication and commitment to upholding the principles of the Second Amendment should be commended.

Now, more than ever, we need to unite and make our voices heard. Contact Governor Tim Walz and urge him to VETO SF 2909 when it reaches his desk. Let him know that this bill infringes on our rights and does not address the root causes of violence.

Remember, our fight is far from over. The battle for our rights continues, and we need your unwavering support. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and safeguard our cherished Second Amendment.

Thank you for standing with us in defense of our freedoms.
