Denver Mayor Exempts Alcohol Stores and Marijuana Dispensaries, not Gun Stores

Yesterday, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock issued a city-wide shutdown amidst the current Covid 19 outbreak.  Following his initial order, Mayor Hancock made sure to clarify that both liquor stores and marijuana dispensaries are exempt from the shutdown.  Unfortunately, gun stores did not receive the same exemption.

It is inexcusable that the Mayor believes liquor stores and marijuana dispensaries are essential while completely ignoring stores that provide a constitutionally protected right.  The Second Amendment is, and always will be, essential.
