California: Los Angeles Sheriff Orders Gun Stores to Shut Down

Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva is ordering the closure of gun stores in California's most populous county as non-essential businesses. It's extremely unfortunate that during these uncertain times that an elected official would limit the ability of law-abiding citizens to exercise our inherent right to self-defense.  Licensed firearm dealers are essential not only for the acquisition of firearms in California but also for the acquisition of ammunition, which must be completed in person.

Your NRA-ILA will continue to monitor this situation and will report to you on further developments.
