Next Wednesday, February 12th, the New Hampshire House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee will hold a public hearing on House Bill 1608, sponsored by Representative Conley, to ban many standard capacity magazines.

NRA Members and Second Amendment supporters are encouraged to attend this hearing to express opposition to this gun control bill. If you are unable to attend, please contact committee members and urge them to OPPOSE House Bill 1608.
House Bill 1608 bans the manufacture, possession, transfer, sale, purchase, receipt, or import of magazines capable of holding more than 15 rounds of ammunition for a hand gun and greater than 10 rounds of ammunition for a long gun. These so called “large capacity” magazines are in fact standard equipment for commonly-owned firearms that many Americans legally and effectively use for an entire range of legitimate purposes, such as self-defense or competition.
