California: Department of Justice Submits Assault Weapon Regulations to Office of Administrative Law

Today, May 15, the California Department of Justice (DOJ) submitted draft regulations on "Assault Weapons" to the Office of Administrative Law (OAL). The regulations were submitted as "file and print only" and DOJ has refused to release the text. This is similar to the last time DOJ submitted regulations on "assault weapons" before they were abruptly withdrawn after the NRA and CRPA attorneys submitted a pre-litigation demand letter.

The NRA's legal team will review and prepare an analysis once the text becomes available. In the meantime, continue to check your inbox and the California Stand and Fight Website for updates.
