Alabama: Constitutional/Permitless Carry Bill Scheduled for Committee Hearing

Alabama: Constitutional/Permitless Carry Bill Scheduled for Committee Hearing

Senate Bill 24, the constitutional/permitless carry bill, is scheduled for a hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, March 1.  Please contact members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and urge them to SUPPORT this important pro-gun bill!

Please click the “Take Action” button below to contact the committee members!

Sponsored by state Senator Gerald Allen (R-21), SB 24 would enable a law-abiding adult to carry a concealed firearm for self-defense without a government-issued permit.  This bill recognizes an individual’s unconditional Right to Keep and Bear Arms for self-defense in the manner he or she chooses.  Self-defense situations are difficult, if not impossible, to anticipate.  Accordingly, a law-abiding adult’s right to defend himself or herself in such situations should not be conditioned by government-mandated time delays and taxes.

Once again, please click the “Take Action” button above to contact the Senate Judiciary Committee members with your support for SB 24!
