Nebraska: Three Pro-Gun Bills in Judiciary Committee Tomorrow

Tomorrow, January 22 at 1:30 pm, the Nebraska Judiciary Committee will take up three bills in Room 1113 that could affect your Second Amendment rights.  The bills that will be heard are: 

Legislative Bill 60: Sponsored by Senator Bill Kinter (2), LB 60 would protect employees by guaranteeing the right to transport and store legally owned firearms within a private motor vehicle. 

Legislative Bill 184: Sponsored by Senator Laura Ebke (32), LB 184 allows authorization for armed security in private and parochial schools.

Legislative Bill 190: Sponsored by Senator Dave Bloomfield (17), LB 190 would designate spouses of active military members stationed in Nebraska as residents of Nebraska for the purpose of obtaining a concealed handgun permit.
