Georgia: Tomorrow’s Senate Committee Hearing on Senate Bill 93 Postponed

Wednesday, February 12, 2014

Due to inclement weather, tomorrow’s Senate Natural Resources & Environment Committee hearing on Senate Bill 93 has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a future date.  In the meantime, please continue contacting members of this Senate committee and urge them to SUPPORT SB 93 when it comes before them.

As previously reported, SB 93, sponsored by state Senator Bill Heath (R-31), would allow hunters in Georgia to use lawfully-possessed suppressors on firearms while hunting.  For more information on the benefits of hunting with suppressed firearms, click here.

Your NRA-ILA will continue to keep you updated as details about the rescheduled Senate committee hearing become known.
