On May 1, NRA-endorsed Kevin Brown defeated incumbent Mayor Iris Tharp by ten votes. Tharp is a member of “Mayors Against Illegal Guns" (MAIG), a national anti-gun coalition founded and funded by activist anti-gun billionaire and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Tharp proudly stood with New York City Mayor Bloomberg and his anti-gun cronies against Virginia’s law-abiding gun owners. The NRA thanks our members in Quantico who voted to have freedom restored to their town by electing Kevin Brown and defeating Iris Tharp.
