Lake Mary has repealed several local gun ordinances as many other municipalities across Florida scramble to fall in line with new gun laws. Thursday evening, Lake Mary leaders voted unanimously to repeal the city's ordinances in order to avoid a $5,000 fine from the state as part of a new bill that goes into effect Oct. 1. The state bill requires all guns laws be the same across the state, and that state gun laws supersede local rules.
