A woman in New Orleans, La. had just entered her home along with her three children, when a criminal armed with a gun followed them inside. Once she saw the intruder, the woman retrieved a gun and fired at the home invader, ending the threat. When the authorities arrived, the intruder was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
Police have ruled the shooting justified.
