The Pennsylvania Senate will consider House Bill 1926 with State Senator Richard Alloway’s (R-33) “Castle Doctrine” amendment very shortly. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU CONTACT YOUR STATE SENATOR IMMEDIATELY AND RESPECTFULLY URGE THEIR SUPPORT OF THIS VITAL SELF-DEFENSE REFORM!
Anti-gun zealots have added language that would prohibit a resident of the Commonwealth from carrying a concealed firearm with a license issued from another state. For example, a Pennsylvanian with aIn contrast, Senator Alloway’s proposed amendment to the bill seeks to protect our rights. It would permit law-abiding citizens to use force, including deadly force, against an attacker in their homes and any places outside of their home where they have a legal right to be. If enacted, this law would also protect individuals from civil lawsuits by the attacker or the attacker’s family when force is used.
