NRA-PVF Endorses Ike Skelton for U.S. House of Representatives in Missouri’s 4th Congressional District

Fairfax, Va.-- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing Rep. Ike Skelton for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives in Missouri’s 4^th Congressional District this November.

“Ike Skelton is a steadfast supporter of freedom. He earned the NRA-PVF endorsement by standing up for our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. “Missouri’s gun owners and hunters appreciate his strong dedication in the U.S. House of Representatives.”

Rep. Skelton voted for legislation to end reckless lawsuits against gun manufacturers and for legislation to prohibit gun confiscation from law-abiding Americans during states of emergency. In addition, he cosponsored the National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity amendment, which would extend federal protection of state right-to-carry licenses and permits across the country, and voted to allow concealed-carry permit holders to carry and transport firearms for self-defense in national parks and wildlife refuges.

“Ike Skelton’s pro-gun voting record and steadfast support for individual gun ownership rights has earned him an “A” rating and endorsement from the NRA-PVF,” Cox continued. “We ask all Missouri gun owners, hunters and NRA members in the 4^th Congressional District to vote Ike Skelton for Congress on November 2nd.”
