A criminal armed with a gun approached a man outside an apartment complex in Detroit, Mich. and demanded money. The man, a Right-to-Carry permit holder, drew his gun and exchanged fire with the robber, striking him and ending the robbery. The criminal was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while the armed citizen suffered only a minor wound to his head. Detroit Police spokesman John Roach noted that if the criminal is released from the hospital he will face further justice: “If he recovers, he'll likely be charged with armed robbery, and probably attempted murder.”
