A male armed robber, dressed in a wig and skirt, burst into ABC Liquor Store in Macon, Ga., pointed his handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk complied with the criminal’s request, but the robber still fired a shot. After the criminal fired, an employee drew a gun and fired at the armed robber, striking him and causing him to flee. The criminal was located near a local medical center and was treated for his wounds. Upon release, the robber was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
