Fairfax, VA-The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing Congressman Nick Lampson for re-election in Texas’ 22nd congressional district.
Chris Cox, NRA-PVF Chairman, stated, “Nick Lampson has a pro-gun voting record in Congress and is a great friend to gun owners and hunters in the Lone Star State. He has earned the endorsement of the NRA-PVF and we urge our members to vote for Nick Lampson on November 4th.”
Congressman Lampson has been a steadfast supporter of the Second Amendment. He has co-sponsored NRA legislative efforts to restore self-defense rights to residents of the District of Columbia and supported the historic congressional amicus brief in favor of the Second Amendment that was upheld this year by the U.S. Supreme Court in District of Columbia v. Heller.
Congressman Lampson also co-sponsored much needed reforms to the BATFE and the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act. He supported the Protecting the Second Amendment and Hunting Rights on Federal Lands Act and voted against restrictions on our hunting rights. Lampson’s unwavering defense of the Second Amendment has earned him an “A” rating with NRA-PVF.
