Fairfax, Va. - The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) announces its endorsement of Cynthia Lummis for election to the U.S. House of Representatives in Wyoming on November 4.
"In Wyoming, hunters, sportsmen and gun owners appreciate leadership that respects the Second Amendment," said Chris W. Cox, Chairman of NRA-PVF. "Throughout her tenure as state senator, Cynthia Lummis has proven her longstanding, steadfast commitment to preserving our Second Amendment freedoms."
During her tenure as a state lawmaker, Cynthia Lummis was a solid advocate for the right to keep and bear arms in Wyoming. She is a long time supporter in the rights of law-abiding citizens to own firearms and defend themselves and their families. While serving in the state senate, she also voted to pass Wyoming's Right-to-Carry law in 1994.
Lummis' solid pro-gun and pro-hunting voting record has earned her an "A" rating and endorsement from NRA-PVF.
Cox concluded, "The choice is clear. Cynthia Lummis' strong support for the Second Amendment heritage in our country has earned her the trust and support of NRA members in Wyoming. We encourage our members and fellow hunters and gun owners to vote Cynthia Lummis for Congress on November 4th."
