As U.S. Supreme Court justices face a decision about whether to hear a key Second Amendment case in Washington, D.C., Idaho lawmakers say their constituents clearly support this state's open gun laws. While a handful of cities nationwide have adopted gun bans of varying degrees, Idaho is among the majority of states that do not require a license or permit to purchase a firearm. There is also no state-mandated waiting period on gun sales nor is registration with law enforcement agencies required.
