Nowhere is the phrase "A person`s home is their castle" taken more seriously than in Texas, and a new law, which took effect Sept. 1, is the latest proof of that. Called, aptly enough, "The Castle Law," this serious piece of legislation, which gives citizens widely expanded rights in the use of deadly force against attackers, became law without a lot of hoopla.
