Senate Bill 892, sponsored by State Senator Roger Beyer (R-9), the NRA-supported Youth Hunter Mentor Bill, passed the Senate today by a 28-0 vote.  Thank you to all who called and sent emails to your Senators.

A huge thanks is owed to Senator Beyer who sponsored the bill for us, and who also carried it on the floor.  If you would like to thank Senator Beyer he can be reached at sen.rogerbeyer@state.or.us.

The bill now moves to the House of Representatives where the hearing process starts anew.  Please contact your State Representative today at (503) 986-1000 and respectfully urge him or her to help protect Oregon’s hunting heritage by supporting SB892.
