The Virginia State Crime Commission has formed a subcommittee to assess the effect illegal immigration is having on Virginia`s criminal justice system. Sen. Kenneth W. Stolle (R-Virginia Beach), the commission chairman, said the topics to be studied include crimes committed by and against illegal immigrants, the costs such crimes incur on the justice system and what measures might be taken to alleviate problems.
