Earlier this week, we announced that Governor Bill Richardson (D) had signed House Bill 622, which contained nearly $1.4 million for improvements to Shooting Range State Park in Albuquerque, the new home of the NRA-sponsored National Police Shooting Championships (NPSC). The money was requested, in part, by the Governor himself, and by roughly a dozen different lawmakers who represent different parts of the city.
We neglected to list two additional lawmakers who secured money for the NPSC in a separate bill, Senate Bill 415, which was also signed by Governor Richardson. Please take a moment to thank these State Representatives for their commitment to making this event successful in its new host city!
