Washington Gun Show Legislation Defeated!

SB 5343, a bill that would have prohibited non-licensed individuals from buying, selling, or trading firearms from their private collections at gun shows without conducting the exchange through a licensed firearm dealer in Washington, was defeated Wednesday, February 1. The Senate Judiciary Committee cast 5 of their 8 votes in opposition to this restrictive legislation.

Please call the committee members who voted "No", to thank them for holding firm against this terrible legislation (especially Senator Luke Esser (R-48) and Senator Marilyn Rasmussen (D-2)) at (800) 562-6000.
